there's around 5 liters of blood in a human body

when you donate blood it's around 0.5 liters and you're fine. people start to have problems when you loose more than 0.75 liters, but it is possible to loose up to 2 liters and survive.

now, the adult stomach can hold around 1.5-2 liters
