the 2001 cinematic universe (2CU) demonstrates an astonishing breadth of style and vision, with contributors ranging from Uwe Boll to Wong Kar-wai. in stark contrast to Marvel's tightly controlled output, few formal rules seem to restrain creators in the 2CU.
Kubrick's 1999 passing seems to have had little effect on 2CU output, suggesting the director had planned out at least the larger beats far in advance. his estate remains characteristically aloof, only repeating its widely known recommendation that 2CU films be viewed in order of their "title years."
okay so there's this post I remember seeing on here but didn't take a proper record of and can no longer find on google. This post has been living in my head ever since I saw it. It went something like this, but funnier:
Clown: Doctor, I'm just feeling down at the moment. I don't think I have enough drip.
Doctor: Ah, you should go see Pagucci in town! He's the funniest clown with the most drip!
Clown: rolling up sleeves to reveal dozens of gold wristwatches But doctor... I am Pagucci...
"Pagucci" and "most drip" are the only phrases I'm certain appeared in the original post.
