Well I may not have learned comedy in a fancy writer's room but I figured out a thing or two on the streets (watching 90s sitcoms) and this I know: the surest fire way to get a laugh is to deride a northeastern liberal arts college of some renown. Whether it be Brandeis, Vassar, or even good ol' Wellesley, audiences can't resist clever little bon mots like "I was shocked that she could withstand such a horrific sight, but that's before I learned she went to Bennington." Now if you'll excuse me, I'm on my way to go write a funnier "Who's On First?" called "Who's On Fordham?"
