ignore the grime (look this has been unused at my second home since probably 2003) but check out the specs on my BEAST OF A GAMING PC
i mean it is literally THE WORLD'S BEST GAMING MACHINE, so it's pretty badass. i know you're all jealous of my pentium III and 64 MEGABYTES of RAM.........didn't even mention the 3.5 INCH FLOPPY DRIVE...that's right i can use floppies AND DVDs with this utter MONSTER
ok all kidding aside, when i saw this PC at my second home (btw when i say 'second home', it was my dad's home but he kind of, you know, died back in 2018) back in december i was like 'oh shit, i remember using that PC back when i was a kid, didn't know it was still here.' and i was thinking i'd see if it still works and, if it does, maybe upgrade it a bit to turn it into a late 90s gaming PC for playing older PC games on period-accurate hardware
i had literally no idea it already was a gaming PC cuz like why the hell would my dad have bought himself a gaming PC in 1999 (and he obviously didn't buy it for me considering i was three at the time) lol
but anyways i still haven't checked if it works still but i genuinely hope it does. will need to get a new monitor though. i mean i have a couple CRT monitors but here's the thing:
- the PC case is beige
- the keyboard is beige
- the speakers are beige
- the mouse (not OEM) is beige
- even the fucking scanner is beige
neither of my CRT monitors are beige! i need a beige monitor to complete the look!
