There wasn't a date or an event that caused me to no longer be adventuresome. I can go back through my history and I can point to health issues as milestones along the road to where I am now: Yet another greying man with a bad back and a pocket full of memories of glories past. What can make me adventuresome again? Not having to fight my own body whenever I go out would probably be the beginning and end of it. Maybe I can pull it off with a little help.

Here's a thing- The memories are never of wine, women, or song. When I try to recall things it's flashes of the very mundane. Snapshots of nothing in particular. My apartment in a Seoul slum. A group of lizards chilling on the sign of a Taichung grocery store. Tiny Mochibaru Station, always on the verge of being swallowed by ivy and bamboo. A lot of times it's something I can picture but the information is lost. What is that street in Northern Seoul that allows you to see across the Han River and why does it stay in my memory?

If I think harder about I can remember the wine, the women, and the songs. But those are never what comes back to me first. It's the small things. The stuff you never think to take a picture of.

sometimes i look at unfavorable reviews of games i love for i dont know why. but i dont even know if we played the same game. like the infamous ign pmd explorers of sky review, youd think itd get at least the same score as what its the Improved Third Version of but nah. "a crazy version of chess where everyone moves at once" and "the pokemon equivalent of Bruce Willis from Unbreakable" are concepts that live in my head

Like the FBI warning or whatever. Oftentimes the button that skips them is disabled. I find myself wondering what even is the point of them

• Do they actually make people less likely to do a piracy
• Do they make it easier to prosecute people for doing a piracy

or do they just exist to annoy me

why does this not apply to streaming services? they don't feel the need to warn me about copying the film before I can watch it.

although as they have terms of service that have notionally been clicked through, maybe that counts? although from what I'm aware, click-through terms of service can tend to be less enforcable than companies would like them to be.

anyway, shoutout to whoever made the 4k disc for everything everywhere all at once for putting the copyright warning at the end instead of the start. sarcasm voice you're so brave in risking me pirating the film by not warning me to not do so until the end of the movie

These mean a lot to me so I wanted to keep wearing them, I got them with an insurance check I got for being the first person to be rear ended in a four car pile up thanks to a woman that was texting and driving 👌🏻, I wasn’t the one driving but everyone in our car got a $1500 check each from her insurance, our car wasn’t even damaged lmao, I didn’t feel bad about this because when she first approached us the first sentence out of her mouth was “hey guys my dad is a lawyer he can handle this”

It’s just so ridiculous too like we were fully stopped at a red light and she slammed in to us full speed lmao
