I'm forever chasing this tea I had at a tea house in my youth that was a black tea with caramel, but any of the ones I've tried since then have been borderline undrinkable. Really the only thing I can even tolerate now is peppermint tea with definitely way too much sugar. I've never acquired the taste for tea, and even tea-free herbal blends never sit well with me. I make up for it by being a coffee snob*, albeit one that doesn't like matcha either.
I have a bag of prickly pear chai my grandma gave me in the pantry that I haven't brought myself to try yet bc I've never liked chai either but I adore prickly pear. Much to think about. I also have prickly pear honey that could be good in tea.
I grew up with parents who drank both sweet tea and unsweet iced tea and having tried both multiple times I have concluded they are masochists for subjecting their tongues to that.
*Snob enough that I drink fresh ground pour over with a preferred bean roast but not enough that I drink black coffee. Coffee also gets the intense cream and sugar regimen that tea gets from me. And I adore iced coffee and will drink it year round.
