I drink Lipton green tea but leave the bag in so long that the astringent tannins leave me thirsty as soon as I've finished a sip.

Edit: That isn't all the tea I drink, just my most unusual habit, and I was drinking it right when I made the chost. I also like:

  • Constant Comment (I found it because of Scott Pilgrim shut up)
  • Earl Grey and half-and-half (a lazy London Fog?)
  • This delicious rooibos drink called a Red Symphony from a cafe down the street from where I used to live. I think it was this recipe but I don't have the means to make it.

I'm forever chasing this tea I had at a tea house in my youth that was a black tea with caramel, but any of the ones I've tried since then have been borderline undrinkable. Really the only thing I can even tolerate now is peppermint tea with definitely way too much sugar. I've never acquired the taste for tea, and even tea-free herbal blends never sit well with me. I make up for it by being a coffee snob*, albeit one that doesn't like matcha either.

I have a bag of prickly pear chai my grandma gave me in the pantry that I haven't brought myself to try yet bc I've never liked chai either but I adore prickly pear. Much to think about. I also have prickly pear honey that could be good in tea.

I grew up with parents who drank both sweet tea and unsweet iced tea and having tried both multiple times I have concluded they are masochists for subjecting their tongues to that.

*Snob enough that I drink fresh ground pour over with a preferred bean roast but not enough that I drink black coffee. Coffee also gets the intense cream and sugar regimen that tea gets from me. And I adore iced coffee and will drink it year round.

I either drink peppermint tea or teas imported from Japan that come in cans or bottles, usually green or oolong, most of the tea I consume is milk tea though, I think my favorite way to have tea is yuenyeung though which is milk tea mixed with coffee, I make it good at home

Edit: when it comes to milk tea I’m a much bigger fan of the Hong Kong style that uses Ceylon, versus other regions which use Assam, Assam is unfortunately mostly what is sold in cans and bottles, I’ve attached a picture of the best packaged milk tea in the world, they also sell yuenyeung in this style it comes in a silver blue and black container instead of the copper and black

Mostly I favor spicier teas, with my go to for a quick hot cup being Stash's chai spice. Lately I've taken to adding a little brown sugar to it, and sometimes some ground pepper to make it a bit spicier and help with a cold or something.

Daily though I've picked up a habit of making my own sort of iced brew, the stuff in the picture. I was looking up drinks I could make with apple cider vinegar because I like vinegar tastes, and stumbled on this stuff called Good Girl Moonshine. I confess, I saw the title and my brain immediately went: "Well, I'm a good girl! Clearly this is meant for me!"

Is it just me or like is a lot of criticism about the new Velma™ show really bad?

I won't disagree that it's a bad show (There’s no way I even really could disagree, considering I haven't seen it.) but like... so much of the criticism is just...

  • "They redesigned the old cast to make them racially diverse."
  • "They make too many jokes about white people."
  • "They removed Scooby Doo."

(...okay that last criticism is warranted.)

As a since-classic-WoW-Enhancement-Shaman main, RDM's access to powerful ranged, some melee, AND healing is basically the grail for me.

Finally getting around to trying out other classes, and, of course, I don't spin up a Tank or Healer, but another fuckin DPS.

But, dang if I don't like the criss-crossy balance style of RDM and all its vibes. I hope it's not like this for all classes, or I'll never fuckin leave this game.

I'm not loving the options for levelling 50-60 being either Floors 50-60 of PotD (which I've not even reached yet) OR spamming dungeon queues. They both feel so slow. And battle leves suck for XP. Blegh.

Aight let's do some duty roulette.

Wonder what MSQ it is?

Gee, I fucking wonder, at around lv50-ish. Hm. Could it be the longest one ever?

Yes.

Sad part is, it's almost 3x the XP rate I was getting doing PotD solo. :/
