I just FINALLY figured out how to route my audio so that the VHS player will hear it when I record, so that is a relief

this is less of an immediate problem, but any idea why this plays back in black and white? I'm wondering if the HDMI to composite adapter I have is a lemon

anyone here who's had this issue? :host-plead:

Genuine question.

It always seems like it ends up being a "Swallow the cat to catch the fly" situation, or a "Swallow the cat to catch the fly and it works but then the cat gets out and now has no natural predators so it multiplies and suddenly you have a bunch of cats that decimate the fly population of an adjacent area and the frogs can't compete anymore".

Okay so I'm glad this cold is over, legit, I haven't had a cold in practically a decade. I actually lost the cold for a while now but I wanna make this post anyway. It was absolutely miserable and I'm glad I can taste again, let me tell you something;Tasting stuff is weird after a cold.Your taste gets all jacked up because of your nose, and for some reason, there was this particular smell... to everything. I can't describe it, I either smelled nothing, or I smelled what I'd like to coin as 100% bipisWhat is 100% bipis you ask? I don't fucking know, that's what. It was this weird, sweet smell, but it also wasn't? It was just, something, I recognized it everywhere, and when I did, I would get so agitated. Like, "Ugh, this smell again??" . I somehow kinda associated it "this is the essence of all smells" for some reason; the keystone smell. I'm so glad I can smell properly again.Sometimes, though, I can smell 100% bipis occasionally, and every time I do, I shudder.
