trying to figure out if the fact that i've decided to listen to sad music is precipitating a depressive episode, or if the music is making me feel like i'm about to have a depressive episode. cause and effect, not as simple as they teach it in physics class.

Please send me examples of art that's got, like, particularly good lineart/inking, aaaaaa.
i am working on a management sim and i need design inspiration. my current big inspirations are frostpunk and dwarf fortress. i am especially looking for weird and off the beaten path stuff. jp-only is not only allowed, it's encouraged. especially interested in anything you think has a distinctive or cool visual style to its user interface design.
I can recommend Pizza Tycoon for the amount of pixel art in different perspectives, random skeuomorphism and trying to fit a maffia sim into a restaurant sim. I always wanted to understand it and play it right but it involves weird shit like being able to physically put a whole ass lobster on a pizza (which skyrockets the greasy rating on the pizza, but hey, some people like that a lot and will pay $$$). I don't know if it's balanced enough to be able to legitimately play it, only abuse its broken systems to not lose?
Another game in a very similar vein is Constructor and Constructor Plus. You are a corrupt housing/city developer or something like that. It has an interesting mix of graphics, humour and management sim. I recall it having a good demo?
For maximum oddness (rather than quality or sensibility), there's also this japanese theatre management sim for the 3do called Theatre wars. Retro pals gave it a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y79jpsEd0Cc
