I've been using the same soap brand and scent for over 12 years now. I've been fine with the scent the whole time. but 3 months ago, they were out, so I got a different scent. now, I'm back to the old scent, and I suddenly can't stand the smell. I have no idea what is happening

like, it smells the same, they didn't change the recipe. I know it smells the same because it triggers the scent memory in my mind you get when you smell familiar smells. but like... I just suddenly actively dislike it, and I'm really confused by it
