trans people are allowed to commit_{a minimum of}one (1) capital offense free of consequence

a friend of mine repeated a joke they heard about "chat" being the gender-neutral equivalent of "guys" and now I'm over here thinking that we could totally make that cultural slang if we wanted to. in a century people would be hanging out and gathering attention by saying "chat" and there would be paragraphs written debating its origin and now I know the change I want to make in the world
