Introduction

hey y'all! my name is bastian, but you can call me basti :)

i've been on cohost since august, but have mostly lurked and written comments up until a few weeks ago, so i guess it's time for an introduction.

i love reverse engineering and hacking things and have been doing that ever since got my first dell laptop in 2008

vr is one of my specialties, i own 6 quest 2s in total, out of which 4 are rooted :o, for which i'm sharing tools and hidden features on my youtube

my favourite games are currently hitman 3 & minecraft, for which i write mods and hacks for in my free time :p

other than that i really enjoy learning new things, so if you ever find something that i could like feel free to message me here or in dms on twitter or mastodon :)

downquest browser extension that can download and downgrade all kinds of oculus games

BladeQuest! 10th Anniversary

Back toward the end of 2010 I was a proud owner of my first-ever smart phone, the HTC Droid Incredible. I got the idea with some friends to try making a game for it and came upon the idea of a simple 2D JRPG. Three years later our team produced a really exciting demo featuring the first few hours of the game. There wasn't anything quite like this available on the platform at the time and the game had somewhere in the vicinity of 50 thousand downloads.

In the end, the project was scrapped and removed from the app store. So, in its memory, I've decided to make an itch release of it so that it has a nice final resting place for people to go to to play it! I also open-sourced the code and assets earlier this year :host-love:

I elected to contribute about as much to my limited use FSA1 as I spent at my optometrist last year. But...my current glasses are still working fine.

So guess who just bought six pairs of cheap colorful glasses from an online retailer?
