reranking arts and crafts difficulty levels (the ones I have done)
cross stitch is the dark souls of arts and crafts
drawing is below that
music making below that
ceramics is below that
experimental welded metal sculpture is below that
other stuff is below that
writing is still the easiest art
Just realised I never introduced myself on this site, so lets do this!!
I'm Llewelyn, a 28 year old Welsh/English bisexual socialist who moved to Stockholm at the end of 2020. My full time job is in web dev, otherwise I love to do a bit of everything! Watercolour, game dev, reading/writing, music, synth hardware, video editing, electronics, knitting, the list goes on 😅
Over on kind.social user f00fc7c8 posted an interesting summary of the history of Mastodon & the fediverse, starting with before Mastodon and before the ActivityPub standard. It’s not a complete one and mostly focuses on the path to Mastodon (so Diaspora and some even earlier federated things like Usenet aren’t mentioned which makes sense).
Interestingly, I forgot about identi.ca, which I did use in the past and then ended up staying on Twitter! I even still have a diaspora account kicking around somewhere… anyway.
