I think I've decided on "sine wave modulation of HSV values" as the "vibes" for my LED grid thing.

It's all done with fixed point math and look up tables, so honestly it should be pretty damn fast, even on a little 64MHz CPU.

This is modulating the "value" (or "level") in the X direction, and "saturation" in the y direction.
