libcohost is coming along! It's a small C library for interfacing with the current Cohost API. It also comes with a handy terminal app which automatically logs in, prints some user info and saves a credentials cookie (if desired).
Be warned: the code has no explicit security features attached to it, beyond the normal hash encoding used to safely send the password to the Cohost server.
My idea is that you'll be able to retrieve the text of posts this way, and edit posts you've already made. A true 1980s web browsing experience!
Speaking of which, I'm also testing an MS-DOS version of the terminal app.
