I think I looks pretty cool!

So! Lets talk about it.

It's based-- in part on a design of an Angel Feather from Campaign Skyjacks.

An Angel Feather is a Very Powerful thing. It contains some small part of Angel it was a part of. This Feather, specifically, belongs to Gable Skyjacks.

Gable Is Gender, which is part of why I got it!

Gable Killed God, that's why they fell. That is, in part, why Speir is the way it is. With Cursed Seas and the death of nations.

It isn't a kinder world, mind you. There are still problems, still people who grasp at power at the expense of others.

But it is better than what it was-- because Gable looked at injustice and cruelty of those who had and held power and decided it should not be like this

Basically, it's a reminder to myself that be summed up as

"Be Queer, Do Crime, May Tyrants Fear Your Might."

watching cohost grow in features as needed, with small inconveniences being fixed (switching pages while on a post) to big usability upgrades (this mobile update) with conveniences sprinkled in (quick share on mobile) makes it so clear that not only do the eggbugg wranglers use the site but they have context on frustrations we face.

it's been a while since i've used a site with this kind of membership that seems to be actively paying attention.

also? all of the amazing work by staff that i can see clear evidence of (not to mention the transparency) makes it so that small things that would turn me off are easy to ignore. probably bc i know staff is working their eggbooties off (while hopefully keeping work life balance).

also, it feels fun to open it up, engage for a bit, and then it's easy to disengage.

all this to say (with too many parentheses and not enough em dashes) i am very thankful for the team and the people that this app exists
