in high school i thought it was the coolest thing on the planet to refer to the "internet" using terms like "the interblag" or "the interweb" or things of that nature. maybe we should go back to doing that
Had the thought thatāgiven cohost's user base are mostly vaguely-techy nerds and how big a part of site culture CSS crimes and hacking areāsomeone has to have implemented DOOM (1993) on here. It's surprising no one has yet.

This is Squirrel Girl rendered as HTML5 pixel art using <div>s for the rows and <span>s for the columns! The image is quantized down to a 32-color palette and rows are "compressed" using run-length encoding.
Code is available online and I'll get a live web version running soon.
