So obviously days like today leave a lot of people with thoughts, and mine mostly go back to various people I've met online. I've never been a really social person in the fleshy world, mostly because I didn't have neighbors, and the kid who wanted to talk about Star Wars, video games, and was bald at thirteen didn't -really- make a great social butterfly at school. Most connections I tried to make in person, even up to college, were in various interests I loved, but were actively being ruined by assholes before I even got there (Looking at you, college TTRPG and anime clubs).
