This was shot on the Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm F1.4 (1986-1991 version) I got included with a Nikon F4. It handles incredibly well on the G85. It's extremely light and well balanced compared to the Hellos or Takumars I own due to its plastic body. Its focus throw is short but still precise with no slipping or sticking. And stopped down to f5.6, easily the sharpest and contrastiest lens own. To the point in some cases where it seems to sharp for it's own good.

The things I don't like include it's tendency to render colors greener than my other lenses (I've noticed this is a thing with all the Nikon lenses I have) and it has the least ergonomic focus ring of any lens I've used. It's way to small and hard to grip. It's as if Nikon was so overconfident in their autofocus system they expected you'd never use it as a manual lens.
