My cat Charlie has co-opted my backpack because I left it on the table one (1) time and now she sits and watches me work or just to hang out and I love her and her lil paws and her lil nose and how she puts her lil paw over her lil nose.

things i learned during nanowrimo

"squelch" simply means to subdue or crush.

i always thought it also had the connotation of including, like, gross wetness. Like you squelch a sandwich bag full of pudding when you stomp on it. the word just sounds gross and wet, you know?
