any of you nerds on here have any guesses as to why my 3.5mm headphones aren't working with the 3.5mm jack on my phone? the headphones work fine connected to other sources and the 3.5mm jack on my phone works fine when connected to different speakers and headphones. the only idea I have is that the headphones came with an optional microphone attachment that I don't use, so maybe the phone is treating it as an audio input device rather than an audio output device. problem is I don't have any idea how to test to see if that's actually what's going on or resolve it
