Hey folks. My boss fell behind on his taxes, got in trouble with the state, laid us off and stiffed us our pay right before rent time. The check should have been just under $500, and while I may get some of it, I won't be getting it in time for bills. I start a new job next week but won't see money for a few weeks.

Finance & Health Status:

Since our last update, we received a total of 125 dollars from multiple donors, still leaving us with a deficit of 2,508 dollars.

Healthwise, it's been 32 days since my last dose of xifaxan, but I still haven't experienced any significant symptom relief. It is still a bit early to say that nothing's going to happen, but I'm not optimistic. There's a high chance I'll have to pursue other medications in order to extricate myself from gastrointestinal purgatory.

On the bright side, mazie's ear infection has cleared up. That's her up there in the photo. Look at her. She's goddamn adorable.

The End of Cohost:

Cohost is coming to an end. That seems like a pretty relevant thing to talk about.

I don't have nearly as much of a reach on other platforms, so it'll probably get a lot harder for me to raise funds once cohost shuts down.

I'll give it to y'all straight. We're in some serious financial trouble right now. We've been having to skip some of our less essential prescriptions in order to make sure we can afford food.

First, I had a colonoscopy.

Then, a storm blew down large chunks of our fence.

Then, we had to get two tires replaced.

Then, I had to get a two week supply of xifaxan for over 1,080 bucks

THEN, Pandi hurt her leg again and we had to pay a bunch of vet bills for x-rays and special stomach-safe doggy painkillers

And lastly, we can't rely on my grandma for help because she's being investigated by the IRS because merill lynch fucked her over by transferring all her money out of her account WITHOUT DEDUCTING TAXES. They did this without informing us whatsoever. We're pretty sure it's because we started a beef with one of the managers over there. Yes, we're considering filing a lawsuit, but that's going to come much later.

So, in other words, everything sucks. Bad.

I couldn't afford my estradiol this week.

In total, we need about $3,250 to cover everything and get back in the black.

Hello everyone! The previous thread was getting far too long, so I made another one.

First, the good news:
We only need 814 more dollars to cover the rest of my colonoscopy!

Now, the bad news:
A severe storm blew over a large portion of our fence and damaged many other sections of it. The down payment for the repair is going to be $1200. Talk about miserable timing. Christ.

We also got a flat tire that cost another 280 bucks, but I won't be adding that to the total. I've put enough on your plate as it is.

I've decided to set up a gofundme for the fence once we clear the goal for my medical bills. That way it will be easier to keep track of everything.
