i have thought "damn, it'd be nice to have a skateboard for just like, getting around nearby places" Several Times in the past few weeks, and i think i'm going to blame you. just so you know.

it really is nice though! if you're somewhere with decent sidewalks, that isn't usually too wet out, skateboards are a great way to do short commutes. easy to just take with you into wherever you're going, so no need to fuss with a lock or anything, helps you stay active, everybunny thinks you look cool and awesome.
honestly if the trip is short enough it's also not even really slower than driving, since you don't have to worry about parking, left turns are easier, no car start up, etc etc.
