My girlfriend's review of Marvel's Eternals mid-movie: This would be better if this wasn't an action movie and they were all lesbians

Update to her review: This movie is like Annihilation meets Waiting for Godot

There's several things I liked about the movie (very very pretty movie, and I especially liked the pretty ancient history scenes) and more that I wanted to like... but the cast is too big... I cared for parts but not all the parts... I was more invested in Kumail Nanjiani's character's acting career than the fight against evil or whatever... the bonus scene was very tonally weird...

My gfs final review: You know how I know those dogs outside are in a good mood? Because they didn't just watch the Eternals
