🦁 woxi@wolf-and-ghostling3/23/2024, 2:58 PMbeen out of the loop for years, are macs still the standard in the creative industries or is nature healing#the way some people rushed to waste their savings on a macbook#then rightfully complained incessantly about what a slow overheating uncustomisable and plain unwieldy frustration it was#and STILL would hype it up because they felt it made their jobs legitimate#all because everyone from university lecturers to art directors to experienced folks said a macbook is a MUST if you want to be a serious illustrator#i have used many macbooks and macs at work and they never delivered#any old laptop for half the price performs twice as well#i want to understand if apple is just the trendy bougie thing or if there was ever some legitimate reason people were putting it on a pedestalsee all
