pros of visiting my parents: i love my parents and they love me, i can basically just laze about for a few days, i get to eat a lot of good food and alcohol

cons of visiting my parents: their house is full of garbage noise that only me that doesn’t have audio filtering built into my brain can hear (electrical hums of technology for example), the bed i have to sleep in is uncomfortable (pillows, blanket, mattress all bad), i am away from my pets and my controlled environment that help combat me from reaching meltdown status

tldr: this house is hostile toward my autism and it’s really hard to feel physically comfortable here even if i’m otherwise emotionally and psychologically comforted
