I was having fun trying to get my Lunar Solo clear in the Rabbit & Steel demo. Progressively learning more and more of the last boss' patterns was going well. And then... Something happened.

ok but you gotta realize that's not possible. at the end of f-zero gx story, captain falcon defeats the Staff Ghosts, banishing them. how can we have a sequel if no one from our world can interface w/ that one after that point

the gba games were clever, trying to establish an alternate continuity to get around that. but you can only really do so much that way, can only go so far. it's pretty obvious why going back to the very beginning was the only choice the devs had
