But no, you can't play many Super NES games at an acceptable speed. Never mind that it looks like a Super NES controller.

(By the way, the Frogger game in question is on the Genesis, and it's quite faithful to the arcade game, which the Data Frog apparently cannot play. The Genesis port is close enough to get the Costanza seal of approval, though.)

It's been a while since I've updated my blog, but if it's any consolation, this is a pretty big update! Here now are reviews of nineteen Atari arcade games. Some highlights include Cloak and Dagger, Roadblasters, Millipede, and Crystal Castles.

By the way, is Food Fight any better in the recent Atari game collection than it is on unofficial emulators? Because they didn't include it in Atari Flashback, and it's unbearably clunky on everything I've used to play it. Charley Chuck has the turning radius of a football field! You're an eight year old boy, not a Mack truck!

For me, the answer to "What is the best game of 2022?" is "All the collections. All of them. I want them all, give me what you got. Even that sad, scrawny thing from whatever's left of Data East."

I've already got a ton of these game collections on Switch, and I want any of the ones I missed. "Even Atari 50, full of repeats from Atari Flashback?" ESPECIALLY Atari 50! I wanna play I Robot on a handheld! Plus it's got interviews with the guys from Atari, which is the first omake in a long time that's got me really excited to see it.

Omake is not an absolute must-have in a video game collection, but it's nice to have it in there. There was a rather rubbish port of Namco Museum for the Dreamcast where the games were emulated... acceptably, but it offered NOTHING in the way of bonuses. And on a Dreamcast, one generation ahead of the bonus-packed Playstation games! Poor form, Namco.
