there are limits to Broadmoore's patience
OpenCanvas 1.1
Broadmoore patiently explaining to Miles Dyson that Cyberdyne Systems' funding of his project makes absolutely no sense from an investment standpoint. The artifacts weren't made in somebody's garage; clearly enormous resources are behind their design and production. Someone out there made these things. The instant Cyberdyne brings a derivative product to market, it would certainly be obliterated in litigation. Furthermore your standard venture capitalists would never dump that much money into something they couldn't be certain of owning. It all suggests an awareness of an atypical origin on the part of Cyberdyne's management.
"But I understand. You just want to do your work, and leave all that nonsense to the money men. But believe me, insufficient consideration of what management's up to can be fatal."
