couldn't figure out what it was for a while, but i just realized it's the theme to 'Do It Yourself!!', a terrible anime nominally about DIY.

the message of that anime should have been that you should give kids access to power tools. and how to use them safely. the set-up was perfect for this. but instead it just went into dumb anime tropes and making a little bit of resin art. which is like, sure, that's neat, but for an anime you want higher stakes than that!!
