You know I can be a cynical, grumpy bastard...

... but I love it when Keith (one of the judges) gets overwhelmed by emotions at the sight of what a contestant has created, and a veritable flood of approbations and encouragements pour out.

Also, watching the contestants help and support each other when they need to is super heartwarming. None of that cut-throat bullshit here.
