Toronto's fall weather just flipped suddenly to winter today, so I decided it was time to give up hope of riding into December and start servicing my motorcycle
these two tubes are the front suspension that holds the front wheel in place, bolting onto either side of the wheel. they're filled with large springs and fork oil. the chrome part slides in and out of the grey part to cushion the ride against pot holes, stopping, etc. and make the ride smoother.
the bike I bought was used so I have no idea when lubricating fork oil was replaced, and the dust seals (that prevent dust from the chrome part entering the grey part) look cracked all around, so the fork oil inside the grey part is probably all gummed up and dirty.
maybe I'll stream this on Twitch? just for fun? idk
