"Why do you keep tapping your foot?"
"Hmm?" The white furred Samoyed looked up from his phone at his friend. "Oh! Let me show you!"
The canine raised his foot and peeled off his sneaker, tilting it into his hand. A tiny lion tumbled out into his palm. "Because of this guy."
He blinked and then gasped. "A micro!" The mouse balked. "You cant just do that to them because they're small! They're still people and it's abhorre-"
"Relax!" The Samoyed raised a hand. "This guy is paying for it. He gave me 500 bucks to be my servant/toy for a day."
"Oh. Oooh." The mouse relaxed. "Well that isn't so bad."
The dog nodded enthusiastically and closed his fist, giving the lion a soft squeeze and making him squeak in fear. "It's actually really fun! I even extended the time for this guy for free, I've had him for a week!"
He locked eyes with the micro lion. His face was red and his eyes were panicked. A strange mix of excitement and sheer terror on his face as he squeaked some silent plea.
"You wanna borrow him for a few days?" The Samoyed offered.
"...Yes."
