Before the king stood a feline wizard,
offering a world of wealth and boons.
For the silvery cat to be considered,
his skills offered on a silver spoon.

With a scoff the regal lord did decry,
such silly superstitions he denied.
'I've no patience for such absurd lies,'
'Now leave my sight.' he replied.

The wizard calmly insisted,
appealing to the king to please listen.
The monarchs laugh persisted,
and the demand to leave his vision.

With furrowed brow and glared,
to the king the wizard did refer.
'If you wont take me at my word,
perhaps a display is what you deserve.'

The words were met with a cacophony of laughs,
when the king raised his hand silence fell.
'To threaten a king on his throne one mast be daft,
Guards, escort him to our coldest cell.'

As the guards approached in organized throngs,
eager to enforce the kings law.
The halls were filled withe leopards song,
and that was the last of the guards anyone saw.

The king stared eyes agape,
shivering in frightful awe.
As he fled it was too late,
the wizard raised a claw.

While the king tried his flight,
each stride became more slight.
Each second diminished his might,
with a few words he was but a mite.

The new world around him inspired dread,
throne like mountains and carpet strand spires.
No taller than a foot-wears leathery tread,
cowering from the wizards ire.

Fingers like tree trunks descended from the sky,
whisking the monarch to the air.
A grin wider than the great mountains high,
with teeth like knives to bare.

Pleading sounded from the king laid low,
offering gems and gold for his soul.
A laugh sounded that shook him so,
as the maw opened to swallow him whole.

Among teeth like swords the king was sloshed,
praying to the gods that his fate be mended.
With a tilt of his head the wizard gulped,
and the royal line was ended.

Highly experimental stuff here, was talking with people about how there was not any macrofurry poetry to i decided to try my hand at it. I've never done poetry and all i really remember from learning about it in school is the most basic forms.

Guess at that point it's kinda obvious I have a bit of a weakness around sorta rude characters, yes yes
