went on a winter excursion in the realm earlier today with friends and it was really fun! I hope we get to do more stuff in a big group often. We trekked a long way from our bases which caused issues with the variable readiness between us lol meaning a lot of running away from strays while trying to get a bed (because I was a genius and forgot to bring one). Eventually, we came upon an illager outpost which we took out together and decided to do a raid as well at a village we passed by on the way there which ended successfully and the fireworks were really cute. Also of note was this huge canyon area in the mountains which looks like it's rife with potential space for putting something big in there, I especially like the separation between the upper lake area and the drop-off into the cave part. We also found an igloo with a brewing stand, something much needed in a server full of players who all hate going to the nether for one reason or another and the one big nether excursion that's been done being cut short before being able to map out a fortress due to a lack of fire res potions, oh well lol at least now we might be able to go in and advance close to the End.
this rail bridge on a realm for me and my friends is probably the best-designed thing I've ever built and I'm really proud of it, first time I've ever had to purposely mine for diorite too lol. To be honest, I keep forgetting diorite, andesite, and granite exist whenever I've taken extended breaks from the game, they always register as "new" to me but were added in 1.8???
