how it feels to play tf2 jump maps for 2 to 6 hours
im finally learning how to sparrow fly
the local chat people on nessus were nice and tried to help, but ultimately the only thing that got it for me was rebinding dodge left/right to the mouse wheel. that way my left hand is only concerned with rotation, and my right hand is only concerned with dodging. doing all of that with one hand was like a little tap dance routine my brain couldn't handle.
the trick is that you have to keep tapping "roll left" occasionally to fix your rotation speed... and it really doesn't feel that consistent. it's also ideal to roll slower than you think, cuz you don't want to roll too much while your dodge is going or your momentum will go the wrong direction. it's so weird lol.
bonus: sparrows can roll with "vernier thrusters" which gives you an extra boost!! you can keep pulling sparrows from collections until you get that perk. yeah it's weird that sparrows have random rolls but can be pulled from collections...
