Happy to finally announce a release date for my experimental album, Liquid Air!!

Every midnight in the Kootenays, the always-alternative Flipside FM broadcasts a show unlike any other, asking: "What if a radio station could dream?"
This aircheck is one of their answers to that question.

It's a fun and relaxing little journey through various synths and nature sounds.
I had a lot of fun putting it together, and I can't wait to share it with you all!

Decided to take the "goofing around" to it's logical conclusion and started working on a cover. I was, like, what would be fun to cover with guitar + synths + Lorelei + me being in a weird mood...

Then I realized I had "Give it Away" stuck in my head (RHCP) for the last couple months and was like... Maybe this will get it out?

So I started working on it. But, me being me, I started messing with it. Step 1 being that I upped the bpm from 95 bpm to 110. Flea's bass lines are easy to play, right? The blister on my left index finger disagrees, but at least I got the line down.

Then I moved onto the guitar part...but I added a wah pedal because I don't like doing things the easy way 😅. Worked wonders on the verse. Intro is almost entirely unintelligible though. That's a problem for "Tomorrow Jae".

Though what I'm really scared of is recreating the vocals in Synth V 0_0. I can barely keep up singing it analog style with these meat sheets my parents gave me. Not sure how this is gonna go with Solaria/Lorelei 🤔

Oh well, covers are definitely goofing off for me (because I don't have the stress of composing, it's just a technical exercise for the most part.) Should def sound interesting if nothing else. Hopefully in the next couple few days.
