All my fanart takes me like weeks-to-months to conceptualize and implement because I don't paint a lot in the first place, except back when I listened to ep1 of Palisade and had to go home and put out a Cori immediately.
This piece is on the same sheet as a study for my current more involved piece of FatT fanart (Marielda!), so I had it lying on my desk in the sunlight all this time and almost all the marker has faded away because it was just highlighters and crayola. She's just empty outlines and shadows against the black, makes you think.

Posting my FatT fanart here as well - Grace from COUNTER/Weight
was super intimidated at the idea of painting a mech, but then got sooooo excited thinking this one up, and basically succeeded in implementing everything i wanted from it. the inspirations were space shuttle takeoff photos, byzantine icons, digimon proportions, Modigliani sculpture and I believe this design of Grace https://twitter.com/nadiarwendt/status/821130447312650240 by nadiarwendt on twitter I saw years ago with that neolithic sculpture vibe and emphasized hands.
