Hello. Made some pixel art again. I thought playing Pokemon Art Academy on the 3ds would teach me something, and I'm sure it has, but I don't really see much of a difference, lol. Too impatient to really apply much of what I learned this time around.

I suppose I got a bit out of my previous comfort zone in that I didn't draw the face forward-looking and mostly symmetrical. Took me way too long to convey it's left eye just barely being visible from that angle and I think it turned out fairly good. I guess the body's pose isn't super dynamic like the last time I drew him, but he isn't a very dynamic character and I wanted to get a neutral pose this time around, so this pose works well.
For the scarf, I tried using the checkered design I used last time, but it was really overwhelming to look at when I tried it this time and I like this design much better. Still not really set on the exact details, though. Kinda looks like one of those carp windsocks w/ that round badge where it is on the scarf; not exactly what I'm going for. Oh, but you can tell he's smiling under there :)!

Or maybe not. Guess he's not going to let his guard down around you, so long as he can help it.
Wanted to post this on my birthday as, like, a little present to myself; so I made most of it on the 7th to post on the 8th. It took an embarrassingly long while to find the motivation to make the scarf and add the final touches, though. Oh well.
