This show was never really on my radar as a kid, but i got hooked on it about 3 years ago. I’ve drawn duckula a few times throughout that time, but was never satisfied with the result until recently!

This got to be the most finished refsheet that exists of myself. Though, would model sheet be more accurate in this case? Turnaround?

Hello! Feeling pretty alright today. Here's another oc:

This is Fae, she's the exploration/rescue/whatever partner of my Riolu character (don't have a solid name for him, he's kinda just given differentnames). Idk, the exact settings I imagine aren't very consistent; just a few frequently-occurring set pieces that details are carved out every time I go over them. There is a guild-type organization that Fae and Riolu are part of, the purpose of the guild is kinda general purpose from moneymaking odd jobs to specialist services. Anyway, the set pieces are essentially just scenarios for the characters to react to and do neat kick-flips off of w/ their quirks and personalities and performing odd jobs through a guild is a good catalyst to justify going to cool places and meeting strange characters.

Riolu is essentially mute (he has human-world Riolu vocal cords, dog-like; a lot of my guys are nonvocal for some reason or another, idk why lol), but that's A-OK; Fae is able to talk enough for the both of them! She sort of "adopts" Riolu and he just kinda goes along with whatever her plans are. She can be a bit self-absorbed and accidentally treat Riolu more like an enigmatic accessory than a partner who could have a say in any matters, but she genuinely does care about him and is willing to advocate on his behalf and put in some leg-work towards the possible origin of her partner's predicament as it comes up.

The shading is pretty alright, I think. The front limb looks a bit out of place though, don't you think? Is it too thick, not placed quite right? idk, probably both.
