So as I stated in my about me post, I am working on what I would consider my "biggest feasible project" so far. I've tried to make bigger projects in the past, but they failed due to the scope. I am older and wiser now, so this project certainly feels more doable for me, as a singular person with issues. Also coming off of just finishing my previous project a little over a year ago, I feel like I have a handle on what I can accomplish.

This game I am working on now (which I will not reveal the name of for the time being) is what I'd call a "metroidvania with ancient egyptian influences." Whew that already sounds like a big undertaking for me...

Anyways, this may be a little long, but if you are interested, please look through it. Also, since this game is still a work in progress, anything you see may change in the end product. Of course.

My mind has made the (thankfully rare) decision that I don't need any more sleep than 3 hours, so here I am. Thankfully, I already have the artwork I'm posting today done! Here they are:

This is the art I was posting about yesterday that gave me a weird sense of anxiety and, I've gotta say, given the option, Alolan Persian would do that to my brain; ugh, that's just like them! To go and do something like that. lol

I'm really proud of how this one turned out. The arms and legs are a little janky, they're alright looking at the small size they're at though, but I really like the head and the shape of the body and I think I did pretty well with shading on this one.

I love Alolan Persian's big, dumb, neotenous head! I feel like I captured that gen-1 feeling of bordering on goofy, but also kinda intimidating. It's defining features feels like it takes up an appropriate amount of presence on the canvas.
