artist's thoughts
this drawing was made 2 years ago, and was inspired by a dream I had back then.
I saw these two brandishing spears in a dream and decided to draw it. I distinctly remember shapes in the background with white, light green, and yellow, like wall scrolls. the imagery was so striking to me that I wanted to depict it immediately.
I wrote back then that I hoped to have more dreams that inspire me to draw, but that that depended on me being able to record my dreams in my journal consistently. I have great news for my younger self; I am far more consistent in present day. 649 dreams and counting!
