I like the way previous one looks on cohost more, than i like this one

Making the character concept, creating an idea for an animation, coming up with a more finalized design, and making the animation itself have all smanged together at once, and I'm happy with how it's working out. She has ribbons that can function as ear shapes now, something that I only decided on while working on this animation this morning.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you can design characters however the hell you want. There's no objective, correct way to do it, no process that is empirically correct. Let your creativity flow, try new things, refine old things, make mistakes, challenge yourself, have fun with it, but don't fall into the trap of saying "I could never". Know your limits, sure. You can't eat the sun. But give yourself patience and grace to learn and adapt and grow.
