Our next entry in my grand menagerie of forms is a particular favorite, and for this one, we're stepping away from Irish mythos and into Scottish folklore. Going from Irish to Scottish in mythology is a bit of a jump, because where Irish folklore is usually riffs on the transient melancholy of existence, Scottish myth leans in harder on the gruesome stuff. So, let's discuss the glaistig, also known as the maighdean uaine, the Lady in Green.
