sorry for taking such a long break from updates! i never stopped working :3 ironing out snow clan has been a long process and I'm still not sure if I'm done but I think this looks pretty good!

brief summary:
Jamotch is the leader that everyone looks up to & obeys, but hardly anyone has ever seen him in person. Iceimov is the only one he talks directly with. Iceimov relays information to Dakia and Pyobyo while he himself stays busy with research and playing with robots.

Dakia is the sole voice of the king to the people. She sees herself as equal to Iceimov, but in reality she's dispensable. Pyobyo enforces the king's will, tries to live mostly as a normal citizen, but everyone treats him with the same caution as a wild bear. He's known to joke about his authority and use it as leverage in games and such.

The rest are all workers, working to build and maintain the clan. Everyone believes they have a sacred privilege over nature and non-clanmates. They believe you should have to work for everything (they're the only clan that uses money), gender binary (unless you're bottom class, in which case it's all the same), and breaking social norms too significantly is rarely received well (unless you're high-ranking).

Oh my gosh, look at this little guy! I've actually had him sitting around for a while, but working on other things kept his reveal on the back burner (mainly how magic works in this world, I'm still working on that).

After taking my mental break and doing some soul searching, I want to go back into character designing. Part of the reason I never started focusing on it was because I thought "I have to put these characters in their own world or something, they just can't exist" and then I just... wouldn't do anything. But every time I come across some sort of character gallery, I think "I would love to be able to do that all day." So, I'm finally going to focus on it. There's no game or anything planned, but I can at least use some character generators to get some nice description, use Milanote to come up with some moodboards and design character. I'm going to do my best to not to get too hung up on world building (at least not as much as I plan to do with Acute, which is turning into a second world building project), but I feel like I could at least make some areas and a bit of backstory for the world to tie the characters to someplace. Since I want to span out a little bit, I thought using a site dedicated to characters would help me focus. I'm still working on other projects, but I'm gonna try to focus more on making characters. Maybe one day I'll make the gacha I miss from when DC shut down.
