Another day, and the final Transformers OC from that height chart. Hellfire, drawn by Malunis. (FurryMalu on Twitter, RainThunder7 on FurAffinity.)

For the tabletop setting that was being thrown together, she was part of a project to clone ancient Predacons as supersoldiers using modern protoforms as a base to overwrite. The race's "Third Wave." With the Second Wave being the Forged, also created by Shockwave. Which were artificially constructed Predacons from Decepticon test subjects, mostly made through body modification and chemical enhancement. A process that killed many who underwent it, and left many more permanently crippled from the excess strain on their spark. For this tabletop's purposes, the Dinobots' origins were as the Autobots' answer to the Forged. And all three programs were considered not worth the resource investment and ultimately mostly abandoned.

Hellfire herself is a model Decepticon. She's sadistic, powerful, and craves rank. While she has no loyalty to the faction's founding principles or care for its commanders, the Decepticons have her complete loyalty as her only means to live as she pleases. So long as she's effective and makes the higher ups happy, she can be destructive as she wants and they'll continue to give her peons to order and slap around. So she aims to please.

Do not try to sympathize with Hellfire, because she will never give you that courtesy. If left in her clutches, she will hurt you. Not because she has to, not because she needs information, not because you need to be subdued. Though those are certainly great excuses. But because to do so brings her pleasure. Even those under her command know that they have to keep her happy and entertained, because she eagerly awaits the opportunity and excuse to hurt even them.

Anyway, she turns into a two-headed wyvern. And while she's got her alt mode's fire breath coming out of the palm of her hands, her tail can also pop off to be used as a "wand" weapon. The function of which has never been fully worked out. But in a pinch she can surley bash you with it or jab you like it's a pitchfork. Play into both the devil and stage magician motifs to her design.

@valofthevoid asked:

Iona QOTD (Though i might stop for a bit since i cant really think of anything else i want to ask for now lol):

So like, how does her hair work? Is it like actual hair, metal plates, or what? Can she style it?
What's her size in comparison to humans?

her hair is made up of metal plates, with her bangs and side locks being a particularly light and flexible alloy (AKA they're metal but can flutter in the breeze cause it looks neat lol), and she has a few configurations she can switch to that evoke different hairstyles!
I like to think she stands at somewhere around 5 foot 6 inches? fairly average adult human height, rly, not super tall or short

Iona QOTD:

So what are all the aesthetic things Iona has equipped on her? Obviously she has her combat stuff she can cycle through, but you mentioned having some aesthetic attachments as well. I know she can change her lights and her skirt, but is there others?

well, she can change how her "hair" looks to some similar short styles, the sleeve cuffs on her shoulder joints can extend to give a long-sleeved look, and her skirt can extend into a dress or retract entirely for shorts or pants instead. much of her chassis plating can also change colors between her white, blue and "skin" colors, creating different designs to evoke different articles of clothing!
