two pictures i did of neirin! these pictures are nothing too special but drawing them makes me happy!

after coming up with like my 50th idea for a "design change" for my sona i think i've finally learned to let go of consistency or the idea that there just has to be "one" and just make 20 different variations on their design!

i'll call this one "Type-M". it's a more graceful and mom-ly kind of appearance, which is based on a few designs and characters whose aesthetics resonated with me; specifically Nia from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Nicole from the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comics. i've actually had an idea for a more staunchly feminine kind of sweet-pastel design take for a while, but after watching Hirogaru Sky Precure i think the bubble in the back of my head finally popped and gave me the push to try it :] it was really cathartic and made me way too happy, which is always a great sign
