Job: As a former eques (lancer equivalent) in the Garlean army, Naberius possesses no small amount of skill with a spear. Their true interest, however, lies in healing. In that role, they're something close to Alphinaud's Academician "job" - they don't have a SCH jobstone, but their diligent studies of arcanima and medicine have made them a competent healer regardless.
Personality: Naberius is, at first impression, intimidating. They loom over even some full-blooded Garleans and have a chronic case of resting bitch face, which their attempts at smiling do little to offset. They have a tendency to stand stiffly and stare silently at people trying to talk to them - when they do speak, it's in sparse, terse sentences.
In reality, they're a tremendously thoughtful individual. They keep calm where others would be driven to rage or panic, and take great pains to understand the complexities buried in every situation, being fair - some would even say gentle - to all involved. It's not uncommon for them to ruminate on the Garlean Empire, their experiences growing up in Garlemald and serving in its military, and their multitude of feelings about it: anger, grief, guilt, and despite everything, hope for something better. A great deal goes on in their mind, but few are privy to it.
Backstory: Naberius is another relatively ordinary adventurer who exists in a continuity where Meteor (default trailer posterboy) is the WoL.
