Reading the latest Haruhi Suzumiya novel, The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya. Currently in the middle of a very long chapter that is Tsuruya sending e-mails about her friendship with some girl as the SOS Brigade reads them then goes "Aha, you see, based on the quotation marks that are used she is not referring to this girl's servant, but to herself," as if it's a Sherlock Holmes mystery for, like, triple the length of Tsuruya's story. It is borderline unreadable. Haruhi is so fucking back.

#haruhi suzumiya#The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya#The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya#The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya#if a haruhi novel starts with 'in' it will probably be pretty bad is what i am saying#wavering has the story that inspires all timer haruhi singing in a rock band wearing a bunny suit#but in the story there is also an extremely long explanation about how while she was singing she sang it a little worse than she could have in order to get the students listening to buy the album to hear the correct version#so it loses a lot of points there#in general a lot of the short stories are improved as episodes of television just by virtue you can spend time outside of kyons head#overall if you are interested in checking out the book series i would reccommend you dont#just watch the anime#it's a lot better#surprise is pretty great though
