i mean, i got medical devices off aliexpress, but my pens i got from etsy? my usual thought process is: stuff off etsy (SURELY?????)at least had some formof manual (by hand) quality assurance???
doesnt rely matter, i am very happy with those. and the other stuff i got im not gonna show.
just in case anyone was wondering: sadly these cannot take a converter, they have just enough room for one small/standard sized cartridge, no lamy or parker type largos. so, the syringe it is... but i've got a box of some anti-clotting medicine in tiny syringes, i got for an operation (that shit knocked me out flat on the first dose so i only used one of them..., the rest is just sitting there. already emptied one out and removed it from its protective casing to refill the cartrigde with blue. they have just the right volume for this type of ink cartridge too :D) now i just need to wait for my paycheck to get some nice ink, already looked some up and i guess itll be from waterman:
- audacious red for the caligraphy type one with the bent nib
- harmonious green for mid
- serenity blue for the second mid
- intense black for the fine nib
these are rather unelastic stub nibs i also got another caligraphy fountain pen with an elastic pointed nib i want to use tender purple with... havana or absolute brown also looked neat but it's not available at the shop i looked the others up in so purple it is..
though im open for suggestions too, any of you know good ink? i would like to keep the RGBK scheme for these four mini pens, but the fifth with the flexible pointed nib i dont really care much about what color it gets, as long as it looks nice. ^^
got black, red and purple!
for purple i could use a converter so it was pretty much instantly the right color (might be a bit contaminated with blue but i guess that is in the converter's tank now)
black took only a tiny bit of drawing while red really took its time to get through
all in all im pretty happy, also the pen case is pretty posh if i may say so. the only thing missing in my set now is a dinA6 notepad or something to add into the case i guess
